About this concert

Dashville, the famed Hunter Valley musical mob behind iconic festivals such as The Gum Ball, Thrashville, Nundle Rocks and Dashville Skyline, are loading up the gear and a whole bunch of muso mates and hitting the high road for a special one off show in Bellingen on Saturday 10th October.
The event is held in the Bellingen Golf Club and runs from 3pm until around 10pm...maybe later, if you're into it!
It’s a pretty good ‘bang for buck’ this one, PAY BY DONATION gets you around 7 hours of solid live music from a huge cast of Dashville festival alumni and special guests, including Magpie Diaries, Johnston City, Max Marvell, Joey Leigh Wagtail, CJ Stranger, Jessie May and more.

Magpie Diaries is the homebaked musical bounty of Matt 'Magpie' Johnston.
Enjoying the consummate distraction of family life, Magpie and wife Jessica, who run the unique outdoor music venue Dashville, have spent sporadic time over the last decade or so, working up songs in their home-built studio in the bush. The moments fleeting, always between hosting festivals or raising babies. It’s not uncommon for Jess to have a bubba strapped to her back, in order to nail that perfect drum take with her trademark vibe, a style that lends towards Magpie’s soulful lyrical approach. Their harmonies the final ingredient which delivers the smooth soul country sound that is the Magpie Diaries.
When they head out on the road, its always a special occasion.
