Yung Kai is a Canadian alternative indie-pop artist known for his dreamy, emotional sound inspired by artists like keshi and Wave to Earth. Yung Kai’s music comes from his multi-cultural background, finding inspiration in both his Chinese and Canadian upbringing as he blends the East and West in his musical storytelling. After debuting in 2022, he broke through with his viral hit “blue” in 2024, earning over 2 billion streams and a gold certification in the U.S. and Canada. Now represented by Wasserman globally, Yung Kai recently made his U.S. festival debut at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds. On September 26th, Yung Kai released his debut album, “stay with the ocean, i’ll find you" which featured his hit song, “blue”. In addition, he heads out on his tour titled after the album on March 10th around 18 cities in the United States, touring places he’s never been before. Earlier this year, yung kai was nominated for the JUNO Breakthrough Artist of The Year.
