Ruby Dattner is part of a new generation of Australian indie-folk artists embracing vulnerability without sacrificing joy. Based in Naarm/Melbourne, she combines narratives of grief, life, love and loss into a breathtaking sound that is both intimate and uplifting. Dattner’s music is compelling and catchy, her live shows invite audiences to laugh, cry, dance and sing along. Raised in a family of musicians and backed by a band of close friends, Dattner's music is equal parts emotional honesty, community spirit and good fun.
