Moving Pictures - Rush Tribute - Scotland Tickets, Tour Dates and Concerts
About this concert
8:00 PM GMT+11 Going
Moving Pictures is coming to Iduna for a double set! Expect both hits and deep cuts from the entire Rush repertoire, performed by the masterful British trio Moving Pictures. The British power trio Moving Pictures pays a profound tribute to Rush , with a set that touches on both the iconic moments and the true fan favorites. During this tour, Moving Pictures plays the complete 2112 Suite , complemented by other classics and carefully chosen deep cuts from all phases of the band. From early hard rock to complex prog: everything is played with stunning precision, including double-neck guitars and vintage synths. The band is internationally acclaimed, has played at official Rush conventions all over the world, and even for the family of the late Neil Peart. That really says it all. The evening consists of two sets with an intermission, without a support act. For seasoned Rush fans and lovers of musical virtuosity, this is an evening you won't want to miss.

Artist bio
“When I listened to Moving Pictures at RUSHfest Scotland, I closed my eyes and I could hear my brother.”
JUDY PEART

“From the opening chord, the three-piece had the audience in the palm of their hand.
Eóin de Paor proved himself a multi-instrumental marvel, shifting seamlessly between bass, keyboards, violin, and soaring lead vocals with precision and grace.

Jamie Dunleavey, small but mighty behind her kit, unleashed a performance of sheer virtuosity, power and finesse combined in a way that drew gasps and cheers in equal measure.

Steve Brown’s guitar work was masterful, weaving delicate textures and explosive solos with an ease that reminded everyone why Rush’s catalogue is both feared and revered by musicians.

Together, the trio were note-perfect yet never mechanical.”

HIGHLAND TIMES, SEPTEMBER 2025

Power trio MOVING PICTURES are a Rush tribute at the top of their game.

Playing over 70 gigs a year sonce 2023, including Lakeside Park in Canada for Neil Peart's family, headlining RUSHfest Brazil in 2024 and RUSHfest Canada2025 at the mighty Massey Hall.
2026 will add another milestone in their career when they play one of the most iconic venues on the planet - The Barrowland ballrom in Glasgow.

Favourites of Planet Rock's Darren Redick - who has been known to join them on stage.
They have recordings on all 6 Songs for Neil tribute albums, including performances with Terry Brown, Hugh Syme and Jacob Moon.

On hearing their original arrangement of AFTERIMAGE, Alex Lifeson wrote "Very moving and beautifully done. Heartfelt thanks to the band for their kind tribute."

"They had only been on stage for mere minutes and already my face was aching from the sustained grin.
These strangers who weren't actually Rush made me feel as though I was finally attending a legitimate Rush concert.
The accuracy with which they all play while still maintaining a lighthearted approach to their performance is, well, it's exactly as you'd expect from Rush themselves."
Mark Reid - Rockfiend

“That was the 3rd best Rush show I’ve ever seen. The first 2 were Rush.”

“If you missed seeing Rush live, this is as close as you’ll ever get to the real thing.”
