About this concert
7:30 PM GMT+11 Going
Kelley Stoltz is an American songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and DIY innovator whose career stretches back to the late 1990s, when he began self-recording lush, psych‑tinged pop and garage rock in his San Francisco home studio. Born in New York City in 1971, and raised in Michigan, Stoltz has released a remarkable catalog of albums on labels including Sub Pop, Third Man, and Castle Face Records often playing all of the instruments himself and drawing comparisons to the melodic craftsmanship of the major 60’s pop auteurs and the quirkiness of lesser known 80’s power-pop & new wave.
After issuing his 18th album, La Fleur in 2024 to critical notice, he returns in 2026 with his 19th full‑length release, If You Don’t Know Me, Buy Now, a collection that continues his long exploration of hook‑laden psych‑pop, introspective lyrics, and richly textured arrangements that both honor his influences and push his sound forward, reinforcing his status as one of the most prolific and singular voices in underground rock.
Guests Brigid Dawson of the Osees, Karina Denike of Dance Hall Crashers, Pete Straus of the Dwarves and Allyson Baker of Dirty Ghosts and other guests provide backing vocals on several tracks.
Long a favorite of MOJO, Brooklyn Vegan, and John Dwyer… Stoltz is also a onetime Echo & the Bunnymen rhythm guitarist and currently Robyn Hitchcock’s West Coast drummer. Stoltz is also now the host of legendary
radio station KEXPs weekly Bay Area Music spotlight show, “Vinelands”.
An extensive UK & European tour is scheduled for October – November 2026, with a key appearance live in session for Marc Riley on his BBC 6 Music show. West Coast USA dates to be announced.
If You Don’t Know Me, Buy Now will be released in May 2026 on LP & CD by Agitated Records in UK & Europe and Dandy Boy Records in the USA.

Artist bio
Edinburgh’s husband-and-wife dream pop duo, Sarah/Shaun, (pronounced simply Sarah Shaun), alias Sarah and Shaun McLachlan (pronounced McLochlun) announce the Remix Through The Heavy Static EP for release in June.
Sarah/Shaun wooed hearts and wowed critics with debut EP It’s True What They Say? (April '24) plus follow-up EP Someone’s Ghost (April '25). In Silence Love Speaks Loudest (Jan '26) completed a triptych of EPs altogether titled Visit Through The Heavy Static and released by the band, who expect to release a full album early next year.
The EPs have garnered a sizeable list of plaudits/support from some very established names: David Holmes, Youth, Nemone and Don Letts at BBC 6Music, Sean Johnston, Vic Galloway, Roddy Hart and Nicola Meighan at BBC Radio Scotland, The Skinny, The List, The Scotsman, Jim Sclavunos (Bad Seeds), Simone Butler (Primal Scream), the Monolith Cocktail & Ban Ban Ton Ton blogs, the Ravechild podcast and more (see below for details).
“blending the starry-eyed pop of Sonny & Cher with the electronic experimentation of Chris & Cosey” Fiona Shepherd (The List)
And the roll call just keeps growing: Rosalie Cunningham invited them to support her at the MacArts Centre, Galashiels; Nadine Shah caught the live show twice in Edinburgh last April; Pete Kember aka Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3) asked to remix Filter Of Love (from the second EP); Sydney’s Roy Molloy (Alex Cameron/Marvellous Crane) interviewed the band for his radio show in Australia and fell so hard for the music, his live sax features on the third EP. Anthony ‘Doggen’ Foster (Spiritualized) plays guitar on the third EP, while Kevin Bales (Spiritualized) has also given both releases to date a resounding thumbs up...
‘F*cking lush’ Nadine Shah
They’ve played gigs supporting French legends Air, Glaswegian 80s pop legends The Bluebells (who invited Sarah/Shaun to join them on a string of Scottish tour dates in 2024), Glasgow's huge Glasvegas, a slew of venues across Glasgow and Edinburgh, not to mention the festivals: Kelburn Garden Party, Fringe By The Sea, Kendall Calling, Dunbar Music, Hidden Door and most recently Queens Park Weekender.
‘Beautiful sound’ Iain Cook (Chvrches)
Playing live as a five-piece with a set of pre-recorded visuals accompanying them at all the bigger shows, the full Sarah/Shaun band has become the talk of Scotland's buoyant live music scene over the last eighteen months and it feels like they are just starting to hit their stride now...
With this fresh barrel of mixes now locked and loaded and the offers starting to proliferate from much further afield, it can only be a matter of time before the buzz spreads and more people start dancing to Sarah/Shaun's tunes...
