Every Tuesday 5:30-8:30 pm and Every Saturday 6:00-9:00 pm, Mary Louise plays solo at Angelina’s Kitchen, an Italian bistro and wine bar voted Woodbury’s Best Restaurant in 2024. She'll be playing uplifting solo jazz piano as background music for diners, though you could sit at a nearby table or at the bar and enjoy the music as if it were a concert just for you.

Artist bio
Knutson has been called "one of the most exciting artists to happen to jazz piano in quite some time." Her warm, inviting tone, lyrical improvisations, broad range of emotional expression, and distinctive compositions have brought her much recognition on the national music scene. Her latest trio CD, In the Bubble, charted in JazzWeek's Top 10 and stayed in the Top 50 for 19 weeks straight. Knutson tours with her own group, The Mary Louise Knutson Trio, as well as with trumpeter Doc Severinsen, former bandleader for the Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She has performed with such jazz greats as Dizzy Gillespie, Bobby McFerrin, Dianne Reeves, Diane Schuur, Kevin Mahogany, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, and many more.
