月追う彼方

Tsuki Ou Kanata is a three-piece all-female guitar rock band.

Formed in Kokura, Fukuoka by Shiho (Gt/Vo) and Kaori (Ba/Cho), the band later relocated to Tokyo and has been actively performing across Japan, with a strong presence in the Shibuya and Shimokitazawa live house scenes.

In January 2025, Nanami (Dr/Cho), whose powerful drumming quickly catches attention, officially joined the band, completing the current three-piece lineup.

Drawing heavily from the lineage of 2000s Japanese guitar rock—particularly bands like Chatmonchy—the group has remained committed to a distinctive sound that blends the energy of a new generation with a sense of bittersweet nostalgia.

Their songs speak to the everyday frustrations, anxieties, and struggles that everyone experiences, offering both empathy and encouragement. Through catchy, heartfelt melodies and sharp, dynamic rock arrangements, they create music that not only stands beside listeners but also pushes them forward.

Combined with their passionate and highly refined live performances, their music has helped them rapidly gain momentum within Japan’s indie rock scene. Their growing popularity has led to admission restrictions at major live circuit festivals across the country, and their rise continues to accelerate.

[Gt/Vo しほ] と[Ba/Cho かおり]の地元・福岡/小倉で結成後、
拠点を東京に移し、渋谷・下北沢を中⼼に全国を駆け巡りながら勢⼒的に活動中。
2025年1⽉にはパワフルなプレイが⽬を惹く[Dr/Cho ななみ]が加⼊し、正式に3人組に。
ルーツであるチャットモンチーを筆頭とした00年代邦ギターロックの遺伝⼦を継承しつつ、
新世代ならではのエネルギッシュさと哀愁漂うノスタルジーが交差す唯⼀無⼆の音楽性を結成当初から貫いている。
誰もが抱える日々の憂鬱や葛藤を唄いながら"寄り添い"、
キャッチーで温かいメロディとキレのあるロックサウンドで"背中を押す"。
そんな月追う彼方の楽曲に⾼熱量かつ巧妙なライブパフォーマンスが加わり、各地のサーキットイベントで入場規制が掛かるなどインディーズロックシーンでの勢いが現在進⾏形で急加速中。
