Emanuel Brown is an independent Hip-Hop and R&B artist based in Seattle by way of Newport News, Virginia. He came up in Newport News and carries that with him — the warmth, the bluntness, the sense that a song should say something true or not bother.
A concept artist by trade, he builds records the way he builds visuals: deliberately, front to back, with every detail doing work. Nothing on the page or the stage is an accident.
He's self-managed, self-directed, and has spent the last several years building a catalog on his own terms. Live is where it lands hardest.
