Tenuem

Founded in late 2023, TENUEM is a five-piece Symphonic Deathcore band from Enschede, the Netherlands, dedicated to blending heavy music with cinematic symphonic orchestra, detail, and emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent, and The Black Dahlia Murder, they fuse aggressive riffing and dark melodic lines with expansive orchestral arrangements that define their sound.

Their music thrives on contrast: relentless deathcore heaviness is paired with cinematic layers of strings, choirs, and orchestral textures. These elements are not decoration, but a structural foundation that gives each track a wide, immersive, and film-like character.

Formed from a shared goal to push heavy music beyond pure aggression, each member brings influences from modern symphonic metal to classic metalcore and extreme metal. Their collaborative writing process builds songs through layered guitars, orchestration, and rhythmic experimentation into dense, dynamic compositions.

On September 7, 2024, they released their debut EP Singraven, which was received positively within the metal scene and established their signature blend of deathcore brutality and cinematic storytelling.

The EP Beneath the Field ov Bones (September 2026) expands this further, with darker atmosphere, more ambitious compositions, richer orchestration, and a more powerful production. The result is a more intense cinematic experience where deathcore and orchestral symphony merge seamlessly.
