Leslie Austin

Leslie Austin is a singer, songwriter, and performer whose sound is rooted in Southern soul, blues, and gospel-influenced traditions, with crossover reach into pop, rock, and Americana. Her voice carries both grit and grace — shaped by deep musical roots and delivered with a presence that feels lived-in, honest, and fiercely alive.

After establishing herself in the Dallas–Fort Worth music scene and later in Los Angeles, Austin expanded her career internationally, touring Southern Italy multiple times and performing at festivals representing the United States. She has headlined notable showcases and venues worldwide, including Live Nation’s Breaking Sound showcase at The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles and a Dolby Atmos performance in Laurel Canyon. Following that performance, actor Sean Penn remarked, “I’d never seen or heard the singer, but felt like I was seeing and hearing a legend.”

In 2025, Austin was selected as a Dallas Sounds Spotlight Artist through the Dallas Music Office and was an official nominee for Best Singer-Songwriter Act at the Dallas Entertainment Awards. Her original releases have received regional radio airplay and press recognition, with recent work continuing to draw new listeners and critical attention.

Beyond music, Austin has worked internationally as a model and actor, including selection for Dove’s global Real Beauty campaign.
