With their debut album nuja, Nujakasha open a new chapter. Across twelve tracks, the trio moves between hip-hop, neo-jazz and soul, taking the audience on a musical journey through a wide spectrum of sonic colors and emotions. At times hypnotic and dreamlike, at times driving and full of energy, the band combines complex rhythms with infectious grooves and a distinctive musical identity. Collaborations, including one with British rapper NEONE the Wonderer, add further layers and dimensions to the album.
On November 13, Nujakasha will perform at Blue Note in Dresden. In the special atmosphere of the venue, Julian Blumenthaler (keys, violin), Philipp Volkholz (bass) and Vincent Crusius (drums, samples) will present nuja in an intimate concert experience that puts connection, musical interaction and the joy of playing together at its heart.
Experiencing Nujakasha live is more than just attending a concert: it is a journey through different sonic worlds, a celebration of shared musical expression and an evening full of warmth, energy and hope — a moment to listen, disconnect and take something with you.

Artist bio
Nujakasha // One Name, One Sound
The three-piece band Nujakasha creates atmospheric soundscapes and driving grooves - entirely instrumental. Drums, bass, piano, synthesizers and violin merge into a sound rooted in hip-hop, jazz and soul. Layered rhythms meet danceable beats, rapid runs dissolve into lyrical melodies. The result is a sonic landscape full of depth, dynamics and atmosphere - at times hypnotic, at times propulsive, always distinctive.
With their debut full-length album, the band ventures into new territory. Instrumental jazz and hip-hop are reimagined - experimental, emotional and playful in spirit. Expansive arrangements meet delicate details; organic energy blends with electronic openness. Stepping deliberately beyond familiar structures, Nujakasha craft a sound that balances raw intensity with sensitivity.
The band has collaborated with international artists including Mick Jenkins, Takuya Kuroda, NEONE the Wonderer and Hunter Rose, alongside national collaborations with Aka Kelzz, Juju Rogers, Ferge X Fisherman, Ki'Luanda, GALV, Maniac and Cellz.
Nujakasha prove that instrumental music can be far more than background — it is expression, movement and communicaOon. A sound that builds bridges: between jazz club and late-night dancefloor, between complexity and lightness, between mind and body.
