RIA TIMKIN marks a new chapter with Favourite Child EP – a new five-track cinematic alt-pop record that tells the story of a battle. A battle for your dreams, for your place in the world and, most importantly, a battle with your own fears.

Featuring fan favourites The Difference and Our Time, alongside the latest single Slow Mo, the EP builds on a run of successful releases that has earned Timkin increasing support from listeners, press and radio.

To celebrate Favourite Child EP, RIA TIMKIN and her Magnificent Band embark on the Favourite Child UK & Ireland Tour, with shows in Manchester, Bristol, London, Dublin and Belfast throughout September and October 2026. Drawing inspiration from Imagine Dragons, CHVRCHES, Aurora and Florence + The Machine, the band has performed across the island of Ireland, including Output Belfast and the Levels Showcase at Mandela Hall.

With continued support from BBC Introducing and recognition as one of Hot Press’ Hot for 2026 artists, RIA TIMKIN continues to carve out her place in the cinematic alt-pop landscape, bringing a sound built for big stages to audiences across the UK & Ireland.
