Artist bio
Formed by Jenny Eriksson in 2015 with Matt Keegan and Matt McMahon, Elysian Fields is Australia's only band based around the electric viola da gamba. The ensemble exists at the crossroads of multiple musical worlds. Their distinctive sound has made them welcome guests across jazz, classical and folk venues and festivals. Their first albums Fika and What Should I Say drew praise from critics in Australia and abroad. With Swirling Flame (2025), the band deepens its sonic identity while continuing to break new ground for the electric gamba.
