9/2/26 | End of Summer Soirée w/ Rachel Ana Dobken, Abby Jeanne & the Shadowband, and more... $15.00 Melting Trends returns to The Berkeley Backyard on September 2 for an all-ages night of indie rock, garage soul, dream pop, and indie folk. Five artists share one backyard stage, each bringing a distinct sound for a night built around live music and community. Rachel Ana Dobken fronts her band from both the drums and guitar, with a knack for blending heavy rock and soul, often described as “My Morning Jacket meets Amy Winehouse”. This is the publics first true chance to catch the new music she has been tirelessly working on with her band, which is taking her in a MUCH heavier direction. DONT MISS IT Abby Jeanne & The Shadowband is a NYC based indie and garage soul band, birthed in 2024 as the latest project by frontwoman Abby Jeanne, whose sound is a tapestry of genres and emotions driven by soulful vocals and pop art influences. The Extensions are a New Jersey indie rock band with lyrics “sharper than a box cutter, hooks as sweet as grape soda,” bringing danceable, hook-heavy songs to the stage. Kiersten Blue is a singer-songwriter born and raised in New Jersey who started writing music during the pandemic lockdown, quickly falling in love with the craft and writing over 140 songs in her first year. Apsalar is described as “Indie Folk Music From Asbury Park New Jersey (Pronounced ‘App-Suh-Lar’)”.
