Blending psychedelic rock, garage, indie and alternative into a wall of fuzz-driven guitars and explosive live energy, Armand Popa has quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in Romania’s alternative rock scene. A songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, he writes and produces all of his music, crafting a sound inspired by the chaos of modern life, technology and the contradictions of his generation. Over the past year, Armand Popa has performed at Electric Castle and Summer Well, while also opening for Romanian rock legends Vița de Vie at Arenele Romane, further establishing himself as one of the country’s rising alternative acts. On September 24, Armand Popa returns to Expirat for the release of Fuzz Panic Deluxe, the expanded edition of his second album. Featuring brand-new songs that expand the Fuzz Panic universe, the deluxe record will be performed live for the very first time. A limited vinyl edition of the album will also be available exclusively at the release show.
