Singer-songwriter Ruby Archer announces the launch of her greatly anticipated album Worship the Flora, October 10. Marking her debut as a self-producer, the album sees Ruby take full creative control, writing, recording, and shaping every element from her eternally messy room. Ruby’s distinctive blend of jazzy pop with rich harmonic textures and intricate rhythms creates immersive, emotionally charged soundscapes. An accomplished musician and storyteller, Ruby's music is defined by its unflinching raw honesty, forging a powerful connection with audiences through unwavering vulnerability, grit, and emotional depth. The Worship the Flora album launch is an extension of the work itself. An immersive, intimate, and powerful performance, and a love letter to the years of hard work and tears that are woven into the record. With her newly formed band, Ruby brings the album’s dynamic shifts and vulnerability to the stage. The show captures Ruby at her most raw, passionate and creatively immersed, offering audiences an insight into her fearlessness and strength as an artist at this exciting moment in her career. Ruby was recognised for her “unique and raw honesty which creates a direct and emotional connection with audiences” by the Australian Women in Music Awards when she won the AWMA Emerging Artist Award (2024) “Ruby mixes drama and darkness so comfortably. Ruby opens her mouth and I'm locked in for the next 3 and a half mins while she tumbles in the depth and darkness of the drama.” - Claire Mooney, Music Director, triple j Won the 2024 Australian Women in Music Awards, Emerging Artist category. Oh So Tender nominated for the 2024 Australian Music Prize for Best Album. Winner of the 15 Years of triple J Unearthed High competition - Vivid 2023
