Hexabrot

Hexabrot are the latest addition to the ever-growing and inspiring Italian metal landscape. Born in Turin in 2023 from the creative efforts of Paolo Jansen (guitar and synths), the band is soon completed with the capable ears of audio engineer Samuele Forte (guitar), the intricate yet in-your-face attitude of Mattia Caporella (drums), the lavish and tasteful low-end of Gael Finauri (bass and keys), and the anguished roars of Nicola Miceli (vocals). The band established its core sound between Dark Tranquillity and In Flames’ trademark melodic death metal, the progressive vein of bands such as VOLA and Between the Buried and Me, and the world of soundtracks (Mike Oldfield, John Carpenter, Goblin). The lyrics span traditional metal sensibilities, tackling fiction, history and the conflicts of the self. Hexabrot's music unfolds in infinite symmetries, where past, present and future intertwine in a varied musical tapestry, capable of sparking interest in multiple musical environments. The band is currently active in the local and regional scene, collecting highly-praised performances in some of the country's more renowned metal clubs (and more).
