Caroline Bowling

Caroline Bowling is a 20 year old independent artist from Mechanicsville, VA. Starting songwriting at the age of nine years old, Bowling has always had a love for music and writing. At even a young age, she felt things so deeply and found refuge in songwriting and poetry, sharing her raw and vulnerable emotions for the sake of healing not only herself, but others. “It can be so easy to fall into the hole that ‘nobody understands’, that you’re completely alone in the way you feel. It’s such an isolating and hopeless feeling. In my writing I want to help people know they’re not alone, and for myself as well; when people say they relate it makes me realize I’m not all that different”. Caroline aims to create a safe space through her artistry, a space to say what you need to say and feel what you need to feel. With influences such as Gracie Abrams, Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Lana Del Rey, Leith Ross, and more, the heart of her music is her poetic lyricism and mellow melodies.
