The tour will see Jem bring her deeply personal songwriting and captivating live show to audiences across the country, celebrating a collection of songs that reflect growth, memory and finding your own path. Jem Cassar-Daley is one of Australia’s most captivating singer-songwriters, an indie-pop artist with a sharp pop sensibility, soulful vocals and a gift for emotionally precise storytelling.
As she enters 2026 with a debut album on the horizon, Jem stands at the beginning of her most exciting chapter yet. A new era with new music revealing a bolder, more assured voice as she continues to evolve as an artist.
Since her debut in 2021, Jem has carved out a distinctive place in the Australian music landscape, earning widespread acclaim for her celestial vocals and evocative songwriting. Her rise has been marked by an impressive run of accolades, including the NIMA New Talent of the Year award and QMA Indigenous Artist of the Year in 2022. In 2024, she claimed the Queensland Music Awards’ Best Pop Award and Song of the Year for her standout track King of Disappointment, alongside the AIR Music Awards’ Song of the Year. She continued this momentum into 2025, taking home the Queensland Music Awards’ Indigenous Artist of the Year.
Jem’s music has resonated well beyond Australia, with international showcases including five coveted performances at The Great Escape in the UK in 2023. That same year, her spellbinding rendition of The Sweet Escape on triple j’s Like A Version introduced her voice to a wider audience, cementing her reputation as a compelling interpreter as well as a songwriter. On stage, Jem has shared her magnetic presence as a special guest for Busby Marou, Kita Alexander, King Stingray, Thelma Plum, Peter Garrett, Tina Arena, Jessica Mauboy, Tim Finn and Dan Sultan. She has also enjoyed her own headlining sold out tours throughout 2023, 2024 and 2025 along with a stand out performance bringing in the new year on the 2025 ABC NYE fireworks celebration national telecast from the Sydney Opera House.
A proud Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung woman, Jem weaves a deep sense of identity, emotional truth and cultural richness through her songwriting. Her work is grounded in storytelling, intimate, reflective whose songs linger long after the final note.
