Artist bio
Hailing from Alicante, Spain, IOA has established himself as one of the most exciting names in the Spanish techno
scene. His sound is powerful and emotive: catchy melodies that build into cinematic breakdowns before unleashing
fierce, hard drops built for clubs and festival mainstages. His goal is simple: to make every listener feel like the star
of their own movie.
2026 marked a new chapter with his debut on Hardwell's Revealed Recordings. "The Acid Vibe" was played by Hardwell
himself during his mainstage set at Ultra Music Festival 2026, and was soon followed by "Bassline Soldiers" on the
same label.
His evolution has been just as clear on Kurai Records, where a run of EPs ("Dance All Night", "Night After Night", "Rave
All Night" and "Just Music") has pushed his sound into harder, rave-driven territory built for the dancefloor. It marks a
bold step forward from "Purpose of Life", the anthem that first put him on the map with over 2 million Spotify streams,
11 months on Beatport's Hype Mainstage Techno chart and a spot in the official Parookaville 2024 aftermovie.
His music has earned support from Hardwell, Marie Vaunt, Maddix, Bassjackers, Lilly Palmer, NIFRA and MATTN to
name a few.
IOA's music has found a home on Hardwell's Revealed Recordings and Kurai Records. On stage, his sets have taken
him from Spain to Berlin's Club OST, Birmingham's Tunnel Club and Amsterdam Dance Event, as well as a Canadian
tour with stops at Rumur in Calgary and Midway Music Hall in Edmonton. Along the way, he has shared lineups with
artists like Umek, Marie Vaunt, T78 and Joyhauser.
