About this concert
2:00 PM CDT3 Going
The spark of genius ignites with commanding, unstoppable force in Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony, setting off a grand display of musical fireworks every bit as astounding today as 200 years ago.
Described by The Washington Post as “One of the 21 composers/performers who sound like tomorrow”, guitar sensation JIJI fuses rock ‘n’ roll cool with stunning virtuosity in Aluminum Flowers, a concerto for both classical and electric guitar composed by Steven Mackey.
