Caveman Dave is an Americana/Blues/Jazz Songwriter, Multi-instrumentalist, Cigar Box Guitar Builder, Graphic Artist and One Man Band. Originally from the Philadelphia area of Pennsylvania, this DIY troubadour has toured the Country several times performing at Pubs and Festivals since 2014.
You may have seen Caveman Dave at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Spring Gulch Folk Festival, Oregon Country Fair, Northwest String Summit, 4 Peaks Music Festival, AthFest, Snoqualmie Days, Ozark Cigar Box Guitar Festival or the Pennsylvania Cigar Box Guitar Festival.
New Indie-Folk album 'Some Call Me David' now on Spotify and a Jazz album arriving Summer 2026. The Americana/Folk albums 'Lost At Love' & 'Sequoia Tree' are also both on Spotify and all Streaming Platforms. CD's and Limited Edition Records available on Bandcamp.
Caveman Dave also has 2 albums of Children's music on Spotify and a kids set, though he only performs those songs at shows that are specifically listed as a kid's show. These performances are usually saved for Festival side stages, Schools and Libraries. David has a Degree in Education and Fine Art from West Chester University and currently teaches private music lessons at The Shedd Institute.
