We’re Good Habits! A joyous and unexpected fusion of folk, jazz and more ft vocals, cello, accordion, synths and drums. To get to know us / how we sound watch this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQ_jhSBlOg8 To hear ‘Uetze’ from our upcoming album, watch this - https://youtu.be/olTnJitQZzs?si=4PGDitMjdTAF7eMK Any questions at all about access, the venue, the show reach out to me at [email protected] Good Habits are a dynamic Indie-folk band with a knack for turning existential musings into bursts of relentless optimism. With vocals, cello, accordion, synths and drums at their core, they carve out a sound that’s virtuosic, cinematic and unapologetically fun – a blend of folk-ish storytelling, groove-driven energy and existential hope with a mischievous, big-hearted stage presence. Their UK Top 40 Folk charting album ‘Quarter-Life’ won praise from BBC Radio 2, 6 Music, and 5 Live, and glowing reviews describing their sound as “musicianship at its 21st century best” (Tom Robinson, BBC), alongside recent festival appearances at Glastonbury, WOMAD, Cambridge, Green Man, Kendal Calling and many more. Good Habits thrive on connection. With a new album on the horizon – their first as a trio – Good Habits are stepping boldly into their next chapter: a vibrant, optimistic collision of stories, songs and sheer musical joy.

Artist bio
Good Habits’ award-winning, genre-fusing sound has received international critical acclaim in the short 4 years they have existed with performances at Glastonbury and WOMAD, and tours throughout Europe and Australasia.
Their new album ‘Quarter-Life’ charted in the UK Official Folk Charts Top 40, and received glowing press across BBC Radio, Songlines Magazine and more.

Composed of Bonnie Schwarz (cello + vocals); Pete Shaw (accordion + synth) and Jenny Walinetski (drums) the group mix revved-up virtuosity and harmony with vivid storytelling, drawing on their diverse musical tastes and weaving them into an action-packed narrative of genre-bending folky goodness. The recent addition of Jenny brings a high-energy, full-band sound, pushing their indie-folk fusion into dynamic new territory. The new evolution will see them perform at Greenman, Kendal Calling, Greenbelt, Folk East and they look forward to future release projects.
