Artist bio
Thistles are a German/Indian/Dutch trio from Cologne, formed in 2023. Guitar, bass, drums — nothing else, and nothing else needed. The band grinds post-punk, noise rock and shoegaze into long, physical arcs: patient builds, walls of feedback, sudden quiet. Their debut "demo recordings 2025 — live at rehearsalroom" was cut live in one room, no overdubs — and that's what you get on stage. Shared bills with Musa Dagh, Labasheeda, Mclusky, Melt Banana, The OBGMs and Anderswo.
