Lubiana

The Belgian-Cameroonian artist, composer, and kora player Lubiana creates a crossroads of cultures, blending ancestral heritage with contemporary expression. As one of the few women in the world who play the kora (a traditional West African instrument historically reserved for men), she embodies a unique voice: powerful and deeply moving. Her music is a journey of reconnection: with her African roots, with femininity, with her ancestors, and with the earth. Shaped by her travels across Africa, Europe, and other parts of the world, Lubiana weaves a multicultural sonic universe that blends traditional influences with soul, folk, and pop, infused with a strong spiritual and organic dimension.
