Emerging from an underground DIY community they helped reshape in the wake of the pandemic, the Vancouver, BC quartet has been walking a careful line ever since; balancing grit, glam, garage rock edge and indie-pop hooks. They fit anywhere from metal to pop with a unique sound coined by Utah venue Velour Music Gallery's owner Corey Fox, as "glitch grunge." Carter Sears (22), guitar and vocals has helmed Sunfish since its inception. He is joined on stage by Courtney Lane on keys and backing vocals, Mikkel Erickson on drums and recently Avery Davis on bass.
