Catch Black Pontiac in the UK for the first time ever on the "Sick Puppy World Tour" EU + UK leg, promoting their sophomore LP "A Danger to Himself and Others." Featuring support from Sunfish, hot off the trails of their latest EP "Live this Lie." This event is 14+, All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. --- Black Pontiac is a band born out of tension. Emerging from an underground DIY community they helped reshape in the wake of the pandemic, the Vancouver, BC quartet has been walking a careful line ever since; balancing grit, glam, garage rock edge and indie-pop hooks. Drawing from acts such as Cage the Elephant and The Clash, their sound thrives in the push and pull, and with an energetic live show, an enthusiastic cult following, over 10 millions streams on Spotify, as well as several tours, festival appearances, and support slots for acts like lovelytheband and Peach Pit under their belt, the band is poised to turn up the tension even higher with a new project coming June 2026: A Danger to Himself and Others, their 2nd full length LP, available now everywhere. The record dives headfirst into the chaos and contradictions that have come to define Black Pontiac; a reckless, anxious, swaggering, and tender collection of songs grappling with the performance of danger as a coping mechanism, the fear of falling apart, and the desperate attempt to carve out a sense of joy and belonging in the mess. blackpontiac.com --- Sunfish is an Alternative Rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah. They fit anywhere from metal to pop with a unique sound coined by Utah venue Velour Music Gallery's owner Corey Fox, as "glitch grunge." Carter Sears (22), guitar and vocals has helmed Sunfish since its inception. He is joined on stage by Courtney Lane on keys and backing vocals, Mikkel Erickson on drums and recently Avery Davis on bass. Sunfish loves to be on the road, touring and/or opening for bands like Dead Poets Society, Arlie, Friday Pilots Club , IDKHow and Bad Flower. A new EP drops spring 2026, with its first single JACKPOT available on streaming platforms now and the full EP available for purchase in the website shop. The Jackpot release is suported by a Western States tour in March with more tour dates to be announced soon. As always with all things Fishy, best to catch them live. sunfishband.com/

Artist bio
Everyone loves an underdog story, and Black Pontiac remains the most exciting newest example. The Vancouver, BC based quartet have spent the last several years slowly but surely developing a cult following throughout the Pacific Northwest; organizing, producing and promoting their own shows, tours and music in the spirit of their DIY upbringing. Main stage slots at Festivals such as Rifflandia quickly followed, and despite a lack of label support, streaming numbers continue to rise while shows continue to sell out throughout their native province of British Columbia, as their unique brand of ‘Cage the Elephant meets The Clash’ inspired party rock continues to astound, inspire and occasionally offend wherever they go. With new music on the way, the sky remains the limit, and Black Pontiac is ready to fly.
