Originally hailing from Byrdstown, Tennessee, her unique sound is rooted in bluegrass, and she is widely considered one of acoustic music’s most inventive artists.

What fans are saying
Sierra Hull and all of her band were top top shelf!!! Seen them 7 times now and each time is thrilling and uplifting with their virtuosity and joy!! The venture at Groton Hill Music is the best music venue I’ve ever attended. Seen Sierra Hull there twice now.
Shaun Richardson on guitar and backing vocals is a perfect sidekick, as is Avery Merritt on fiddle, guitar and vocals. Goose Raudabaugh on drums adds an amazing sound in a non traditional Rome for what is billed as a “bluegrass” act. It really is a classical, jazz inspired act with country and bluegrass roots. Eric Coveney on upright bass is perfect as the root system, as a beautifully melodic soloist, and a vocalist who seriously needs more notes to sing in this group. The one song he did on vocals along with Sierra was truly beautiful.
Bonus note of the night - the duet between Sierra Hull and opening act singer Bella McCormick on “Landslide” brought the house to a quiet emotional high that made me want to make sure that was recorded and will be released as a hit single. There is always a new and surprising burst of joy with a Sierra Hull evening! I’ll keep going back every time I can!
