July 16 - at the Elevate Summer Concert Series 🦅🪩💜✨ Semiah brings her groundbreaking sound to the stage. A trailblazing Indigenous artist weaving Onkwehonwe vocal technique into self-aware dark pop anthems. She is debuting brand-new music live for the very first time, pop, hyperpop, synthwave, and euro dance collide into something entirely her own. Think SZA meets 2Hollis. Don't miss it. 👹

Semiah’s sonic signature is hyperpop in the vein of Charli XCX and Thxsomch channeled by her urban party-gurl and counterweighted by twang-tinged acoustic ballads for the morning after by her tender-hearted pixie dream girl. Her unmistakable alpine vocal tone shimmers with subtle Indigenous influence and her confessional, story-driven lyrics—on love, fear, recklessness, and resilience—unfold like a Lana Del Rey cinematic screenplay.

Her current release “Clementine” (September 2025), is the lead track in the rollout of her three-song sophomore EP, LVR GRL. A driving anthem written from the perspective of Kate Winslet’s character in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, its much-anticipated video reimagines the cult classic with an Indigenous twist. “I watched this movie endlessly while working through my own impulsivity in a breakup,” says Semiah. “Clementine taught me a lot about myself, so I took that further into a song with the ultimate blend of synth production with live guitar and drums.”

“Clementine” is playlisted on CBC Radio, Sirius XM - The Indigiverse, and The Journey FM. It was named “Song of the Day” by Canadian campus radio distributor !earshot and “Track of the Week” by the Songwriters Association of Canada, spotlighted on Indigenous TV’s Instagram (147K followers, Aug. 22, 2025), and will be featured in an upcoming Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) news interview.

The EP continues with Episode 2: ”Nothing At All”, where LVR GRL replays past situations with a numb heart, finally admitting she was a foolish believer—set against a sonic landscape reminiscent of The Smiths.
