ONE OF THE MOST EXCITING BANDS FROM THE NETHERLANDS

After releasing their first single featuring Cath Coffey from the legendary London band Stereo MC’s, music blog It’s All Indie wrote, “Lemon could quite be one of the best-kept hidden gems of The Netherlands.” Cath is guest vocalist on seven Lemon singles and two vinyl albums. Both albums were released in January 2026. A quote from a review in Illustrate Magazine: “Drawing inspiration from the Madchester era while carving out their own lane, Lemon calls their sound “Nedchester” – a fitting label for a style that blends indie rock, dance energy, and soulful swagger. By the closing notes, Lemon leaves the impression of a band that isn’t just making songs – they’re building a soundtrack for living, dancing, and finding light in uncertain times.”

Their Nedchester sound has set crowds on fire at venues and festivals all over. Last year they blew the roof off at Paradiso. Watch the video on YouTube or via their website. On Gigstarter.nl, their shows consistently score almost nothing but 5-star reviews. “Like fireworks on stage,” wrote a German promoter after one of their gigs.

In 2025, Lemon dropped a brand-new single every month. Here are a few quotes from the wave of raving reviews: Odyssey Magazine wrote, “Lemon keep proving why they’re one of the most exciting bands bubbling up from the Netherlands.” Rattler Magazine said, “Lemon has carved out a distinctive place in the indie landscape.” Plastic Magazine praised their “psych-inflected sound that folds in pop, rock and dance into a spectacular musical moment that’s truly impossible not to love.” And Lacaverna.net called them “one of the freshest sounds in the European indie scene.”

To highlight their love for the classic British ‘Madchester’ vibe, the band called their third album ‘Nedchester’. Their fourth landed in the top 10 of the year according to renowned Dutch pop journalist Swie Tio. All Lemon releases are available on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and other streaming services.
