Artist bio
Sitar rock from Atlanta, GA
Carefully blending psychedelic inspired indie rock with the melodic and textural fusion of the Indian sitar,
Shock Tea offers a refreshing musical experience reminiscent of the rock, pop, and blues of the 60’s and 70’s
while speaking to modern sensibilities.
Flavor:
Little bits of Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, Police, and 'general psych rock'
Visuals:
Fronted by Indian American SitarNik - a 3-in-1 sitar/keyboard/vocalist who plays the sitar standing, through a guitar amp!
A bass player with a chain strap, whammy bar bridge, carbon fiber neck, 4 pickups,
you HAVE TO see it!!
