BBC Introducing in Essex 'Artist of The Year' Sam Eagle, is a British singer-songwriter renowned for his emotionally powerful and musically ambitious songs delivered with a signature honesty, purity, and deep sense of musicality.

Sam's debut-album ‘Are You Listening?’ is the culmination of his musical evolution, following the success of two EPs that propelled him to the forefront of the UK indie music scene, culminating in his accolade as BBC Introducing Essex’s 'Artist Of The Year'. Notably, following the two EPs Sam supported label-mate Passenger for a live stream concert on Amazon UK’s Twitch channel.

Sam has garnered acclaim from BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2, 6 Music, Radio X, CLASH, Mahogany, Berlin in Stereo, and NPR, solidifying his position as a rising star in the indie-folk scene. Since debut single '15/8' was chosen as BBC 6Music ‘Tune of the Week’, Sam has performed at Latitude Festival, The Great Escape, played live sessions on BBC Radio 6Music, BBC Radio 2 Jazz Show, and Radio X. In 2019 Sam and band played at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas - leading to Sam signing to legendary indie label, Cooking Vinyl.

Sam draws influence from artists in the indie-folk world such as Kings of Convenience, Alice Phoebe Lou, Men I Trust, and Madison Cunningham; artists who are uncompromising in their mission to create highly musical and artistic work.
