James Malikey

James Malikey is a pianist, composer and artist. James composes and performs relaxing, emotional and cinematic music, with the piano as main instrument. Nature, emotions, imagination and experiences within this society are the most important sources of inspiration for him.

"There are only black and white keys, but the challenge is to play all colors in between."

James started playing the piano at the age of 4. As a classical trained pianist, he won several prizes in piano contests. But at the age of 15, due to his difficult youth, he discovered his passion for creating his own music, to process and express emotions. In 2019, he won Belgiums Got Talent with his own compositions.

“My music is a key to enter a Different World.”

As much as music helped him, James wants to inspire and help many others with his music. He wants to offer you a Different World, a world where you can calm down and give place to difficulties, but also to beautiful memories, dreams and fantasies. A world of love, light and freedom. He wants to create that world in this reality too.

So he made a journey through Europe to connect people at the streets with his music. He also went to LA to follow masterclasses film music. He performed at the streets in LA, and for the many homeless people, giving them water, food, music.

"I cherish the moments they told me my music made their day better, bearable."

James will give an international concert tour in 2025.
