Cardiff based Afro Cluster are renowned for their unique and exciting blend of Afro funk and Hip-Hop.
Utilizing cuts, a full horn section and rhythm section as well the MC stylings of Skunkadelic, they’ve been frequently described as having a colossal sound and an explosive live show.
After 2016’s critically acclaimed EP “We Don Land”, the band is currently writing their debut album for release in the near future. Keep your eyes and ears peeled!
“They’re excellent proof that the best music exists between and beyond genre boundaries and national borders, and are reputed as being one of the finest live bands in Wales”

What fans are saying
I've seen Afro Cluster several times now, and they never disappoint. From the moment they start playing, it's almost impossible to stand still.
the grooves are irresistible and the energy they bring to the stage is completely infectious.
What I love most is that they're not just an incredibly talented band; they're also genuine, friendly people who clearly care about the messages behind their music.
Their songs tackle important messages and world issues while still creating an atmosphere of joy, unity and hope.
The musicianship is outstanding. Every member brings something special, but it's when they come together as a whole that the magic really happens. The sound is huge, vibrant and full of life, blending Afrobeat, funk and hip hop influences into something that feels both powerful and uplifting.
If you ever get the chance to see Afro Cluster live, do it. Be prepared to dance, smile, and leave feeling better than when you arrived. An absolutely phenomenal live band.
