The starting point of their concert "City Lights" is Charlie Chaplin, who, for Batiashvili, embodies "the beauty and creative imagination of the 20th century." Inspired by Chaplin's music and films, she has selected works that portray key locations of her life – from her hometown of Tbilisi to Berlin, Paris, and Buenos Aires. The programme combines classical music, jazz, tango, film, and pop music with cinematic projections that make each stop atmospherically tangible and shape the evening into a cinematic-musical masterpiece.
