From humble beginnings performing in small restaurants on Preston Street in Ottawa to commanding performances at Windsor Castle and having tea with the Queen, it can be said that Remigio's career path has been a road less travelled. A multi-platinum-selling, Juno Award–winning recording artist, Remigio has shared the stage with Sir Paul McCartney, Elton John, Céline Dion, Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, and David Foster. He has performed for U.S. Presidents Obama, Clinton, and Bush; for the Queen of England and the Dalai Lama; and on *The Oprah Winfrey Show*, where he performed with Céline Dion.


Remigio was invited to the home of Lady Diana, where his single “I Did It for Peace” was premiered, and the performance was dedicated to her memory.


As a singer, guitarist, producer, songwriter, and arranger, Remigio helped shape the sound of The Tenors (a.k.a. The Canadian Tenors). As a founding member, he toured and recorded with the group for 10 years and rose to the top of the charts in the opera/crossover genre. Remigio speaks five languages, enabling him to write and produce music across multiple languages and styles. He has penned songs with Walter Afanasieff (Mariah Carey, Céline Dion), Marco Marinangeli, Bernie Herms, and Tawgs Salter (Josh Groban). His French song “Journées d'innocence” and “Nada Mais,” a Portuguese fado, were both composed for his late father and recorded on the 2012 multi‑platinum‑selling album *Lead With Your Heart* and on the live DVD *Under One Sky*, filmed before 5,000 people at Caesars Palace. His sports anthem “Your Moment Is Here” became Canada’s anthem for the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. The song helped Canada secure the hosting bid, and an invitation to perform it at the Vancouver Olympics followed, where it was sung before 64,000 people at BC Place. NBC broadcast the song as the weekly recap of all gold medal winners.


Remigio released *Guitarradas* with Mediterranean guitarist Pavlo, who co‑wrote nine of the ten instrumentals. The guitar album remained at No. 1 on the iTunes World Music charts for three consecutive weeks, while his voice helped bring The Tenors’ *Under One Sky* to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. Remigio is also featured on four PBS record‑breaking specials airing across North America. He was invited by the Ontario Philharmonic for their 2024 and 2025 seasons to perform *Opera: Greatest Songs and Arias*, featuring opera, Neapolitan songs, and selections from his album *Cadeau du Ciel*. Two world premieres of his compositions—*Dies Irae* for tenor and orchestra and “Fogo do Céu” for guitar and orchestra—were commissioned by the Ontario Philharmonic and performed to rave reviews, including standing ovations. A concert film/documentary will begin filming in September 2026.


He has lent his voice to many causes, including his annual “Concert of Compassion,” helping to feed vulnerable local families in need; Free The Children; Muhammad Ali Fight Night; and Bulembu Ministries, which supports infrastructure development for orphans in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Currently, Remigio is in the studio recording his next release, *A Voice Crying Out in the Wilderness*, and preparing for a tour beginning Fall 2026–2027, including two nights at Koerner Hall in Toronto. Audiences have come to know Remigio for his passionate live performances and quick wit on stage.
