Artist bio
Isla Den is a Montreal-based duo crafting emotionally charged dance music where euphoric club production
meets undeniable pop songwriting. Vocalist Ellie and producer Mira draw from trance,
electro house, progressive club , and pop to create songs built for both festival stages and intimate listening.
.
This philosophy is what the duo call Emotional Dance Music, a sound built around longing, transcendence,
vulnerability, and romance. Fusing razor-sharp hooks with explosive electronic production, Isla Den channels emotional intensity into music that is immediate, euphoric, and unapologetically direct.
Their debut album, Heaven Can Wait, is their most confident work to date. Built around the threshold of desire, the record captures the exhilarating moment before longing gives way to surrender, pairing infectious pop melodies with progressive trance, electro house, and soaring electronic production across eleven
concise, high-impact tracks.
Their work has received support from Mixmag, Nylon, AVYSS, Line of Best Fit, YEAR0001 and
the duo has toured across Canada, USA, Mexico, Europe, and the UK, performing alongside:
Ninajirachi, TDJ, Malibu, Mechatok, Eurohead + more
