Artist bio
Dámaris Bojor is a rising star from Hermosillo, Mexico, known for creating the new genre “Folkpirano”—a fusion of regional Mexican music and North American folk. In just a year of making music, Dámaris has quickly established herself as a compelling new voice. Her sound is inspired by the contrasting landscapes of the Sonoran Desert and the lush Yécora region, blending resilience with warmth and tranquility.

Her background as a trained painter influences her lyric writing, which she approaches like a canvas, layering emotions and imagery. Her oil paintings feature with each single release and album cover, adding a visual element to her music.

Dámaris has already made an impact, including a performance in Mexico City with Daniel Me Estas Matando. Her debut album, “Folkpirana”, produced by Iván De La Rioja, features the singles "Nube De Paso" and "Volar" with Juan Cirerol. Her next single, "Miro Al Cielo," releases on September 5th, solidifying her as an exciting new artist with a fresh, authentic voice.
