Artist bio
Award-winning California singer/songwriter, Jesse Loren Strickman, is known for potent lyrics and powerful indie music. Emotionally charged vocals sail over jaunty guitar chords in songs about heartache, healing and peace.
Annually touring the Pacific West Coast, Strickman plays everywhere from intimate cafes to outdoor amphitheaters and festivals. He has opened for national/world acts such as Damien Jurado, Jay Brannan, CAKE, The T Sisters, Aaron Ross (Hella), Night Riots, Sunny And The Black Pack, and Jhameel (American Idol). He won 'Best Song' in 2024 and 2025 in song contests in the California central coast, hosted by Songwriters At Play
In early 2026, Strickman signed with Shiny Eyes to release his debut full-length studio album, Falling Back to Earth, with co-producer and drummer, McKay Garner. The record dropped on June 24th, with a headlining album release concert at San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Park Bandshell. The album showcases his diverse songwriting, featuring everything from distorted electric guitars to nylon string banjo, intimate breathy vocals to full string orchestras. Singles from the album have received airplay on FM radio stations in San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and North San Diego. They have over 40K cumulative Spotify streams and two of the songs were published in Music Connection Magazine. The full album is available on CD and download at JesseLorenStrickman.com and one new song drops on streaming platforms every first Friday.

What fans are saying
The concert was great! Jesse is often a solo performer and has mastered that format, including by playing multiple instruments. His voice and song selection (his original songs and his covers) are crowd-pleasers. At this concert, he pulled out all the stops. He was backed by a highly talented group of musicians for a full band sound. They performed a 90 minute set. During an impressive instrumental piece, Jesse retreated off-stage briefly. He returned, costumed as an astronaut and doing a whimsical spacewalk dance. He then removed his helmet to perform his song "Falling Astronaut." Another unexpected treat was his interpretation of his song "Belong to the Night." The audience, which consisted of his local and long-distance fanbase, along with park visitors hearing him for the first time, was enthusiastic. The concert was a celebration of the release that day of Jesse's first LP "Falling Back to Earth."
