Artist bio
Freedom To Glide are a UK progressive rock band blending cinematic soundscapes, powerful storytelling, and immersive visuals. Founded by Andy Nixon (principal composer, lyricist, producer) and Pete Riley (keyboards, composer, visuals), the band has expanded live to include legendary bassist John Jowitt (IQ, Arena, Frost*), multi-instrumentalist Rob Groucutt (Rain, Tim Bowness), and drummer Stu Emms (Gypsy’s Kiss).
Known for their critically acclaimed trilogy of albums (Rain, Fall, Seed), Freedom To Glide bring their emotive and expansive sound to the stage with the same depth and atmosphere as their studio work. Their live shows have included celebrated performances at major prog venues such as De Pul and Poppodium Boerderij in The Netherlands and Summers End in the UK.
