Jon Allen is a British singer, songwriter whose retro blend of rock, folk and soul recalls the grit of Free and The Faces with echoes of Bob Dylan and Elton John. Allen has built a career on substance rather than social media hype, great songs, great musicianship and a voice described again and again as whiskey soaked.
His debut album Dead Man’s Suit earned critical acclaim full of soulful grit and melodic confidence. From there his songs found their way into film, television, advertising and radio while his reputation grew as a songwriter.
Along the way his has toured and performed with major players Mark Knopfler, Emmy Lou Harris, Seal, Dionne Warwick and Damien Rice to name a few. With seven albums and over 60 million streams worldwide, Allen continues to reach global audiences. He tours with an exceptional band made up of top level session players.
