Owen Morton

Owen Morton is a Liverpool-born country singer-songwriter who is reinventing the sound of 80s and 90s American country music and bringing it to audiences across the UK and beyond.

Influenced by the golden era of country music and artists such as George Strait, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt and Dwight Yoakam, Owen’s music draws on the traditional sounds, melodies and storytelling that first made him fall in love with country music.

With success coming early on in his music career thanks to contemporary country singles like ‘Leave Me Alone’, ‘History In The Making’ and various collaborations with Texas rapper Swilson, Owen quickly became prominent on the UK country scene. However, knowing his passion lies solely in the older style of the genre, in 2025 Owen followed his heart to Nashville where he cut his debut solo album ‘Made For Me, Made For You’ - paying homage to his roots and drawing on the sounds that made country music what it once was.
