Based in the Washington, DC area, the band blends driving jigs and reels, pub singalongs, and timeless ballads with the storytelling spirit that connects Celtic and American roots traditions. This special concert at Jammin Java celebrates the release of Celtic Underground’s debut album, You Can Always Go Home. The record is a collection of fresh arrangements of beloved folk songs, lively session tunes, and original songwriting, woven together in the spirit of the shared stories that sit at the heart of traditional music--nostalgia, belonging, and the pull of home.
