Quentin Sauvé

Whether he’s playing within the trio Birds In Row—whose furious, convulsive French punk-hardcore has earned an international following—or unveiling his hypersensitive Indie-folk as a solo artist, Quentin Sauvé has never stopped feeling that vital, cathartic need to turn his dark thoughts into raw beauty.
It calls to mind those fragile giants—like Townes Van Zandt, Adrianne Lenker, Bon Iver or Cat Power—who can turn a simple folk song into a descent into their most intimate depths.
A magnificent outlet for his turmoil, his next album marks a turning point. Never has his music felt so open, so radiant, so at peace. Each track stands like a mountaintop, revealing in full the gifts of this exceptional guitarist and songwriter.
Surrounded by four gifted collaborators, this seasoned live performer—who has played over a thousand shows—infuses his concerts with shattering intensity. Always walking the ridge line, he reconnects on stage with the emotions that first gave birth to his songs, inhabiting them with his whole heart and soul. It’s impossible not to be moved to the core—impossible not to shiver in unison.
