Described by Robert Smith of The Cure as a band that “in a better world would play for many more people”, The Twilight Sad have won a devoted audience over the last decade for the cathartic force of their performances and the disarming honesty of their songs. Hailing from Kilsyth, Scotland, the creative core formed by James Graham (vocals) and Andy MacFarlane (guitar and production) has built a unique discography, five studio albums, ranging from the melancholic lyricism of the acclaimed Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters (2007) to the emotional climax of IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME (2019). The latter, released by Rock Action Records, Mogwai's label, consolidated the group as one of the most expressive British bands today, mixing dense guitars, hypnotic synthesizers and a rare emotional charge.
