Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum Atlanta, GA Tuesday, September 22, 2026 - 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. EDT Author, documentarian, and musician Andrew Greer will talk about his book, More Than a President: Sundays with Jimmy Carter, the first book featuring President Carter's work to be published since his passing. He will be in conversation with Kim Carter Fuller, niece of President and Mrs. Carter, who took over President Carter's Sunday School lessons. Books will be available to purchase through our museum store and the author will be available to sign following the conversation. Andrew Greer
As an author, a musician, and a filmmaker Andrew Greer has published three books, released numerous chart-topping recordings, created and hosted multiple podcasts and streaming series resulting in millions of streams worldwide, and directed the documentary Plainspoken—a film inspired by the lives of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter and their neighbors in Plains, Georgia, now airing on PBS. A Texas native, Greer now makes his home in Plains.
