Dennis Smalley's Blue Horizon

Based in Glasgow, Dennis Smalley’s Blue Horizon draw deeply from the rich traditions of the blues. Their live performances celebrate the enduring legacy of the genre, featuring classic material associated with artists such as B.B. King and Buddy Guy, alongside songs by later figures including Ronnie Earl and Robert Cray. The band also honours the British blues revival, with influences ranging from the early Fleetwood Mac and Cream to John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. Fronted by Dennis Smalley, the band is led by a singer who has been performing the blues for over 50 years. Dennis brings a soulful, expressive voice and a relaxed authority to each performance, shaping every song in his own way.
