The Royal Me

Be introduced to The Royal Me. Boston-based indie rock. Fuzzed out, hook laden, and lyrically sharp. Armed with a loose confidence that is a little hard to believe. Touring in anticipation of their upcoming EP, Giving Up on Giving Up, they’re landing in Portland thanks to the lovely folks at The Wild Cranberries Collective, who present to you this evening of music at The Apohadian Theater, featuring musical savants: Isaac Raven Peach Hat The Royal Me One night. One stage. Three bands who really care about you. Your $10 at the door buys more than entry. It buys volume. It buys sweat. It buys the vibration of molecules (in 3D). Beverages available for those who require hydration. The Royal Me have scheduled diplomatic visits this spring to Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine — the New England states still accepting their paperwork. “We come in peace,” says F. Englander. “You’ll leave in pieces.” The mission is simple: earn a welcome back from the slacker rock faithful — and have them bring their many, many friends next time.
