46 Forty Six Band

Dominik Fries is a 42-year-old German musician, sound engineer, and producer, and the creative force behind the rock project 46 Forty Six Band. He began his musical journey at the age of 12 as a guitarist and formed his first band, Living in Pain, together with his brother. Over the years, he played in various metal, rock, and rock ’n’ roll bands before founding his own recording facility, New Rising Studio, at the age of 24.

Since launching 46 Forty Six Band in 2012, Dominik has written, arranged, recorded, and performed all instruments himself, establishing a distinctive sound defined by emotional depth and powerful rock energy. His debut single “The Way We Wanna Rock ’n’ Roll” marked the beginning of a steadily growing discography. Alongside his studio work, he teaches guitar and drums.

Notable releases include “Night and Day” (2023), accompanied by a professionally produced music video filmed in Iceland, and the internationally successful “Never Ending Story” (2024), which gained strong traction in the Americas and was featured in international media.

In 2025, Dominik expanded 46 Forty Six Band into a full live formation with two additional professional musicians. He continues to grow a dedicated fanbase, develop his own merchandise line, and work on new material, including original songs and selected covers.
