About this concert

Moving Pictures is back at 013. Anyone who saw them last time knows: this is absolute top-notch Rush tribute! The British power trio pays a heartfelt tribute to Rush , with a set that touches on both iconic moments and true fan favorites. During this tour, Moving Pictures will play the entire 2112 Suite , supplemented with other classics and carefully selected deep cuts from all phases of the band. From early hard rock to complex prog: everything is played with stunning precision, complete with double-neck guitars and vintage synths.
The band has received international acclaim, played at official Rush conventions worldwide, and even for the family of the late Neil Peart. That says it all, really. The evening consists of two sets with an intermission, without a support act. For seasoned Rush fans and lovers of musical virtuosity, this is an evening not to be missed.

Artist bio
“When I listened to Moving Pictures at RUSHfest Scotland, I closed my eyes and I could hear my brother.”
JUDY PEART
“From the opening chord, the three-piece had the audience in the palm of their hand.
Eóin de Paor proved himself a multi-instrumental marvel, shifting seamlessly between bass, keyboards, violin, and soaring lead vocals with precision and grace.
Jamie Dunleavey, small but mighty behind her kit, unleashed a performance of sheer virtuosity, power and finesse combined in a way that drew gasps and cheers in equal measure.
Steve Brown’s guitar work was masterful, weaving delicate textures and explosive solos with an ease that reminded everyone why Rush’s catalogue is both feared and revered by musicians.
Together, the trio were note-perfect yet never mechanical.”
HIGHLAND TIMES, SEPTEMBER 2025

On hearing their original arrangement of AFTERIMAGE, Alex Lifeson wrote "Very moving and beautifully done. Heartfelt thanks to the band for their kind tribute."
"They had only been on stage for mere minutes and already my face was aching from the sustained grin.
These strangers who weren't actually Rush made me feel as though I was finally attending a legitimate Rush concert.
The accuracy with which they all play while still maintaining a lighthearted approach to their performance is, well, it's exactly as you'd expect from Rush themselves."
Mark Reid - Rockfiend
“That was the 3rd best Rush show I’ve ever seen. The first 2 were Rush.”
“If you missed seeing Rush live, this is as close as you’ll ever get to the real thing.”

What fans are saying
I really like this venue for gigs / shows, mainly as it’s a ten minute walk from my house, but also because it feels pretty intimate, there’s seating (for my old age), and the prices aren’t stratospheric. The band, as always did not disappoint. A blistering first set with a lot of my favourites in there made for an excellent start. A short break then back on it. The accuracy of what they play is what excites me, it’s honestly not far off the real thing. Magic stuff.
