Moving Pictures: A Tribute to Rush brings an epic evening to De Nieuwe Nor on December 11, 2026, with a show every Rush fan must experience. During this special tour, the band will play the legendary 2112 Suite in its entirety, complemented by a carefully selected mix of iconic classics and surprising deep cuts. Expect virtuoso playing, captivating soundscapes, and a flawless tribute to Rush's musical genius. This is no ordinary tribute; it's a complete experience for true fans.
Moving Pictures is an internationally recognized Rush tribute band that has established itself as one of the finest tributes to the legendary Canadian prog rockers. The trio, consisting of Eóin de Paor (vocals, bass, keyboards, and occasional violin), drummer Jamie Dunleavey, and guitarist Steve Brown, plays with remarkable technical precision and passion, with every instrument and vocal part capturing the essence of Rush, even down to the complexity of Geddy Lee's combined roles on bass, vocals, and keyboards. They have played over 200 shows across the UK, Europe, Brazil, and Canada—including memorable performances for Neil Peart's family at Lakeside Park and at the iconic Massey Hall during RUSHfest Canada—and are a regular fixture at fan conventions and major venues thanks to their authentic recreations of classics and deeper cuts from the Rush repertoire. Their performances are praised for both their musical accuracy and the genuine energy with which they revive the spirit of Rush.

2026 will add another milestone in their career when they play one of the most iconic venues on the planet - The Barrowland ballrom in Glasgow.

What fans are saying
I really like this venue for gigs / shows, mainly as it’s a ten minute walk from my house, but also because it feels pretty intimate, there’s seating (for my old age), and the prices aren’t stratospheric. The band, as always did not disappoint. A blistering first set with a lot of my favourites in there made for an excellent start. A short break then back on it. The accuracy of what they play is what excites me, it’s honestly not far off the real thing. Magic stuff.
